Well, I've always admired people's blogs and often thought what a wonderful tool for those of you who have family and friends living out of state, but I've never felt the need to join the "blogging community". That is not until last Thursday. I cleaned off my digital camera which contained pictures for the last two and half years. (Can you imagine if I had lost or destroyed my camera? I would have been devastated.) I was sad at the lack of pictures I have been taking of my family. There was also a steady decrease. For example, two years ago I took about ten pictures of the girls' first day of school, but this last fall I only took two. In addition, I couldn't tell you the last time I wrote down some of the hilarious things that come out of my girls' mouths. (I once was really good about that. Could it have anything to do with going back to work?) I am hoping that this will motivate me to do a better job chronicling the lives of my children. If nothing else, it will make my mom very happy because she can look at them on the internet all day at work.

So happy you have joined the world of blogging. It is so addicting.
