Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow

As Thanksgiving approaches, I begin to reflect on all the things that I am grateful for. I made my girls sit down and make a list of things they are grateful for, so it only seems fair that I would do the same. The list could go on for days, but I will list just a few of the first things that come to mind...
  1. God
  2. Christ Jesus and the promise of a home in heaven
  3. The Bible
  4. my kind, loving, Christian husband Romeo
  5. my beautiful, smart, kind-hearted Reagan
  6. my beautiful, smart, high-spirited Sophie
  7. my doting parents
  8. my very kind mother-in-law
  9. our extended families (Jeff, Genora, Matthew, Ashley, Tony, Michele, Morgan, and Garet)
  10. my grandparents
  11. our Christian family at Cedar Grove and the unity that we have enjoyed for so long
  12. good health
  13. America and the freedoms and privileges that it affords us (I love my country!)
  14. our jobs
  15. education
  16. our home
  17. food, clothing, water, and the amenities that so many people in the world don't have
  18. good friends
  19. our puppy Lily which has brought joy to our family
  20. laughter
  21. sunrises/sunsets
  22. fall trees
  23. rain
  24. the South (I have traveled enough to know that Southerners are the best people on Earth.)
  25. holidays
  26. service people (armed forces, police, firemen, doctors, nurses, medics, teachers, etc.)
  27. good entertainment like funny videos, old movies, or playing a hilarious game of Scrabble with the Kings
  28. the assurance that at any moment if our family were in need, we would be taken care of by a multitude of loving people
  29. happiness...
I pray that in all situations, we give thanks. Even when things don't seem to be so easy. Thank you God for blessing us so richly. May we always give You glory and honor in all that we do.

Hey Jodi! You have such a beautiful family. I can't believe how grown your girls are. Has it been that long since I've seen you? Glad you've joined the blogging world!
